Marshmallow Fondant Cake!

When you hear the word "fondant" you'd probably think it's gross, but decorative. This custom cake made by me and my cousin, proves that wrong. This is a marshmallow fondant, that is tasty and decorative at the same time! Ingredients: 1/2 tablespoon of water, mini marshmallow bag, large bowl, powdered sugar, food dye of choice, cake recipe of your choice, and icing. Recipe for fondant: Take a large bowl such as a popcorn bowl and fill half of it depending on the size of your cake with the marshmallows. Pour water, then pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Once it's done, take it out and stir it with a spoon until it looks like a thick, slimy consistency. After that, throw it in the microwave again. While all this you should also prep and bake your cake so later it can cool. Once the marshmallows are done, grease your counter or cutting board (recommend counter) with cooking oil such as Pam, pour about 3/4 of powdered sugar on the grease, and then pour the marshmallow goo on top of that. Grease your hands well and toss and fold the marshmallow goo and the powdered sugar until it reaches a thick, dense and smooth consistency. Take the food dye, make a drop on it, and fold the fondant again until it makes a smooth color. You might have to use more than one drop to make your color, and if you want two different colored fondants, make another batch. After you color it, grease a large piece of wax paper and put your fondant on. Take a tool useful for rolling and flatten the fondant out, then from there you can cover your cake with the fondant, or cut out shapes! Your cake MUST be cooled or else it will melt your fondant! Decorate the cake with whatever sequins you want! If you can see, my cousin used the leftover fondant to make mini roses! Be creative! Raw recipe based on Feast of Fiction, but our recipe was completely custom. Rating: 5-5. Health Rating: 2-3

Fudpuckers

Since I'm in Florida now, staying at the Destin West Beach and Bay, I thought I'd find some more food! The first one I found was Fudpucker's, a seafood diner/bar/arcade! The arcade was probably designed to lose, so it can just take your money... slowly. We ended up spending like, a million bucks (hyperbole btw) there, so don't try it. The bar isn't for me, of course, but it looks good. So, the food: amazing. I chose healthy meals, such as broiled fish with a large salad and clementines, but I'll show you other people's meals that i saw there in the pics below. The fish was very good, cooked to perfection, and the other meals that other people ordered said that the food was great, and said that the food was excellently cooked and was authentic! As a seafood lover I highly recommend the crab! But if you like chicken, they also serve chicken tenders! My complete rating for this is... 5 stars in taste, and 2-1 stars in health. So that's the daily post! Stay tuned daily for more!

You need cake. You need THE cake.

Any cake lovers out there? Do you like your cake fancy? Well, the bakery Tous Le Jours is by far the best bakery I have been to. They can create beautiful cakes and pastries as seen in the picture of my mom's birthday cake! What I love about their cakes is the sign in gold on a beautiful plate of chocolate and place the plate on your cake! Rating: 5 stars, Health Rating: 4 stars do to delicious cream!

Lunch recommendations for CVMS

Ok, I'm shooting a video and editing it, so I have to do this quick. Alright, so if you go to Creek Valley Middle School, the lunch menu is very optimistic, but if you are looking for something healthy, go and get you a Chicken Wrap. Their wraps are very healthy and affordable, and taste great. Any ways, it's made of tomato, lettuce, a whole grain tortilla, and a load of turkey! Raring: 4 stars due to change of size, but 5 stars in health! Sorry for the blurry pic.

Sushi Masu

Sushi Masu. By far the best sushi restaurant next to Genroku. I'm a big sushi fan, so if you are, this is the place to go. First, the spicy mayo sushi is great, it has fried crab, and cooked crab meat on top with spicy mayo. I rate it 5 stars in taste, but 2-3 stars in health due to fried fish bites. Now, the chicken I'm not sure what it's made of, but I know it's good! The white and brown dressing on it is this sweet AND salty, which complements the sweet and sour chicken, believe me, the flavors sound distorted, but they are good. I rate it 4 stars in taste, and 2 stars in health. Finally, I saved best for last, for me at least. It just depends if you like raw fish. That's a new thing I like. Crazy, huh? Anyway, It's called the Rainbow Roll. It's the truth, it is a rainbow. They use the raw fish such as tuna, salmon, etc. in a rainbow like formation, very colorful and delicious. I rate it 5 stars in taste, and 5 stars in health!!!! So that's Sushi Masu, Carrollton, TX. Stay tuned daily!

Sandwich #2: Regenerative Heart Sandwich

This sandwich is a quick, healthy sandwich that is tasty and doesn't involve a lot of ingredients. If you are done working out, or getting ready for work, these heart sandwiches will wake you up! Here's the ingredients: Pre sliced turkey, pre cut in half strawberries, low fat mayonnaise, low sodium mustard, a toothpick, and whole grain (Preferred) or white bread. To make it, first spread the low fat mayonnaise on both bread slices. For the bread slice on the top, if you want, squirt a droplet of mustard and spread it around. Ok, now for the placement. Place the pre sliced turkey in any position you want it on the bottom slice of bread. Place two more slices after that in a position to where all the turkey covers the area of the slice. Then easily place the top slice on and find the center to place the toothpick. To make the heart, take a pre cut in half strawberry and stick it on the other side of the toothpick! Now your done! The taste of the turkey won't override the sweetness of the strawberry, so it actually tastes pretty good! I give this 5 stars and 5 stars on health rating!

My Sandwiches!

I love sandwiches. They are healthy, and tasty. Therefore I make homemade, beautiful summer sandwiches. Summer is coming up, so I decided to show you one of my sandwich recipes! The recipe is: whole grain or white bread with low fat mayonnaise, then turkey ( of your choice ) then lettuce, onion, and then top it with the top bread that's dressed with low fat mayonnaise! After that, take a toothpick and stick a olive, or, if you don't have an olive, take a mini pickle or fold lettuce to a tiny square and stick that to the toothpick. Find the center of the sandwich an stick the toothpick clean through without it sticking from the other side. Then to top it off, take your favorite brand of chips, fruit, it vegetable and place it around the sandwich. The rating for this sandwich is 4 stars, but 5 stars in health. Speaking of health, be sure to look out for my health refill sandwich recipe! More sandwich recipes will be posted weekly, and if you have any ideas for restaurants, please comment!

Mama's Sugar Delight!

You can't compare any good dessert to this. My mom created the best dish ever. It's also very easy! I call it Mama's Sugar Delights. It's a simple dessert that involves a fried triangular dough, covered in brown sugar, and stacked into a pyramid! I rate it 5 stars, but 3 stars for healthiness. Oh, that's another thing. I will now rate things also by healthiness! So remember the recipe is to fry circular or triangular shaped dough, then sprinkle brown sugar on it!! Simple! Enjoy!
